Spring time Walk

2nd Apr 2017

We at St.Paul's are very grateful to everyone who supported the Singleton Family on the Spring time Walk in Necarne.  We were overwhelmed by the large turn out, especially on such a wet morning. There was such a positive atmosphere and a huge community spirit present.  It was fantastic to see so many young people participating in the walk.  This support was evident in St.Paul's School afterwards where walkers congregated for refreshments  and a raffle.  We would like to thank everybody who donated prizes for the raffle, thank you to those who baked buns, cakes or provided other refreshments.  Thank you to Ryan from Supervalu for supplying refreshments for the children, tea, coffee sugar etc.  Most importantly a massive thank you to everyone associated with St.Paul's Primary School, the Irvinestown community and further a field for joining us on our walk.

A lot of photos and videos were taken for Eloise's Dad to bring back to her in hospital.  On behalf of the Singleton family they would like to thank everyone who made the Necarne walk so successful.  Eloise's mum informed St.Paul's that Eloise loved seeing the photos and videos of the walk and  the messages from her friends and classmates.  On a further positive note she was allowed out of her room to get outside for the first time since arriving in January.
