P6 & P7 Community Police Visit

27th Feb 2017

The police came to talk to the Primary 6 and 7 pupils about the every day work they do.  A large part of their work deals with road safety.  The children were impressed with the equipment they have to carry, e.g. baton, laser, speed detector, breathalyser, hand cuffs etc.  Outside the children got to play 'Cops and Robbers'.  They took opportunities to ask the police questions, try on hand cuffs, talk through walkie talkies and put on the police car siren.     The children had a great time experimenting with everything on show.  Thank you to the police who took time out of their busy day to talk to us.
