Uganda children meet P7 children
8th May 2017
New Life Choir, made up of young, performed numerous songs at mass on Saturday night. Local parishioners were treated to a night of song, colour, enthusiasm and energy.
They choir shared their stories with the congregation on what life is like living on the streets in Uganda. The children in the choir were street children, some of them survived by looking for food in the rubbish dumps. Fortunately these children were spotted by the charity Abanna. This organisation provides street children with meals and an education and provides shelter for them.
After mass some Primary 7 children met with them to share their experiences and stories.
