P6 are participating in Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s Irish Language and Primary Schools’ Céilí Project which aims to awaken interest among children at Key Stage Two in Irish language and culture.
At the end of eight weeks they will join with other schools involved in the project to take part in a celebratory Céilí.
They are learning up to six traditional dances for the Céilí under the instruction of Kevin Goodwin.
