The Derrytrasna Award was presented to Mrs Molloy and two Primary 6 children in Stormont. This award was given to the pupils, parents and Board of Governors of St.Paul's School in recognition of the pastoral care which we provide for all our pupils. The annual award is for school communities that have demonstrated exceptional pastoral care in supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of pupils and their families. The aim of the award is the acknowledgement and celebration of schools that exceed normal expectations in supporting some element of the personal, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of a child or young person.
Thank you to a number of our parents who nominated us, but particularly to Finn Gillen's family which was the entry that helped us to win the award.
Well done everyone for working together to provide exceptional pastoral care for all. The whole school community appreciates this recognition.
