Walk to School Morning

As a part of our Sustrans programme children walked to school this morning from the Bawnacre Centre, accompanied by staff and parents.  This was to make children realise how possible it is to walk to school.  They should now consider if they could be dropped off at a safe location, rather than the school gates to enable them to become more environmental friendly and do their bit to stop pollution.  It also encourages a more fitter and healthier lifestyle if they had to walk a part of the way to school.
