We are very excited to be a part of the Sustrans Programme. This initiative will provide our school with a planned programme of activities throughout the year, for the next 3 years, both in and out of the classroom. The fundamental aim of the programme is to provide schools with the skills and knowledge to get more children walking, as their main mode of transport to school.
We welcome Donal to St.Paul's who will be assisting us with this initiative over the next three years. On his first meeting with the children he gave a brief outline of the activities he will be doing. He then spoke to children in Foundation Stage. On his next visit Donal hopes to help Foundation Stage children to ride their bikes without stabilizers.
