Canon McGourty

It is with great sadness that we say Goodbye to Canon McGourty, the Chairperson of St.Paul's Board of Governors for the last twenty years.  Canon McGourty was fully involved in every aspect of school life.  He had a genuine interest in the children and their families.  Canon brought so many initiatives to St.Paul's including annual trips to Lough Derg, Knock and the altar server trip to Bundoran.  Special occasions in the year were celebrated with a lot of drama and music, including the Easter Passion, Christmas Eve Family Mass and the Heritage Concert.  St. Paul's held a very special assembly to celebrate all the kindness he showed us.  The children presented Canon (and Mitzi) gifts to remember him of his twenty years spent with us. 

Canon you will be greatly missed.
